Care of plants can vary for different types but these are general guidelines which should benefit all plants. For more detailed instructions please consult one of our florists.

Plants

Plants like strong light but most do not benefit from direct sunlight.
Do not keep plants by a radiator or fire. Draughts and very cold temperatures should also be avoided. Moderate room temperature is best.
If the surface of the soil feels moist then the plant has sufficient water. Check the plant every other day and avoid over watering as much as under watering.
Use tepid water as too cold or hot water can be a shock.
In the winter month growth naturally slows down so your plant will require less water. Also do not worry if it stops flowering as plants can remain dormant at this time.
The sun or bright light can magnify water on the plant and burn it so try to avoid watering in these conditions.
